Our guides are trained, certified and above all passionate about Utrecht. From its Roman origins to today's vibrant student city — we tell the story.
Since 2018 we have welcomed more than 15,000 participants from all over the world. And we're just getting started.
Our mission
Utrecht is a city with a rich history dating back to Roman times. From the iconic Dom Tower to the unique wharf cellars along the Oudegracht — every street has a story to tell.
Our mission is to make those stories accessible to everyone. Whether you're a tourist or have lived in Utrecht your whole life, we believe everyone deserves an amazing tour without financial barriers.
That's why we work with the "pay what you wish" model. Our guides are passionate volunteers who love sharing their knowledge and love for the city. A tip at the end of the tour is always appreciated, but never required.
Our guides
Our team consists of more than 20 trained and certified guides. From history students to retired professors — they all share one thing: an indestructible passion for Utrecht.
Every guide goes through an extensive training programme and is mentored by experienced colleagues before they can lead tours independently. This ensures a consistently high quality.
